This institute started by training certificate in Community Nursing and Public Health Technicians in 1990.
Later in 2000 a diploma in Public Health(in-service)was introduced.
The college is located in Kabarnet town,next to Kabarnet District Hospital.
Currently the institute offers a certificate in Community Nursing and a Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences(in-service).
