Applicants holding any one of the qualifications below shall be eligible for admission:
(a)A minimum of C+ in KCSE with C+ in each of the subjects below:
(i)Chemistry or physical sciences
(ii)Geography
(iii)Biology or biological sciences
(b)A diploma or a higher national diploma in a relevant discipline from accredited institution
(c)Two principal passes and a subsidiary pass in science subjects at A level
The above discipline involves the study of insects and pests such as worms and ticks.
The program is vital to any farmer since pests and insects affect his productivity.
Students are therefore equipped with the pest control techniques.
The type of knowledge that graduates acquire may aid them in becoming qualified farmers or veterinary officers.
