The sales turnover of the company is on the decline with increased operational and distribution costs. The distribution of agricultural products in Kenya is highly government regulated. All the products are distributed to the consumers through distribution channels. Some of the channels used include non-shop distributors such as hawkers and market sellers, etc.
The DIY Ltd performance is affected by poor policies on supply chain management. The management of the company is considering the introduction of a new supply chain management system as a measure to address the problems facing it.
