and its consequences. [8 marks]

vi) Monogamy
c) Briefly state the emphasis of each of these books
i) Job
ii) Psalms
iii) Proverbs
iv) Ecclesiastes
v) Song of Songs or Song of Solomon [5 marks]
d) Poor leadership is one of the primary causes of many problems in the world today.
state five qualities of a successful leader in the book of Joshua. [5 marks]
e) State nine practical lessons that you have learned; four from historical books
and five from wisdom literature (Be sure to state the book). [9 marks]

Question Two
a) “The Noah’s Flood was only around the region of Mesopotamia” claimed a Bible critic.
Respond to this statement with both Biblical and extra-biblical evidence. [15 marks]
b) “Alcohol drinking should be allowed in Kabarak University since Deuteronomy 14:26
approves it” claimed a student. Counsel this student appropriately with five biblical
references that warns against alcohol drinking. [5 marks]

Question Three
a) Compare the lives of Eli and Samuel the priest in terms of family responsibilities.
[8 marks]
b) God created a man and a woman to enjoy sexual relationship within a legal marriage.
State the unlawful sexual relationships in Leviticus 18:1 – 29 [12 marks]

Question Four
a) “If God is Holy and loving why does he allow his people to suffer?” asked a cancer
patient. Using Job as a case study, counsel this patient. [10 marks]
b) Compare and contrast the results of obeying and disobeying God from the book of
Joshua and Judges. [10 marks]
