Question Seven
An ambulance belonging to Charity Hospital was rushing a critically ill patient to hospital. In the process, the ambulance failed to stop when the street lights indicated red. The ambulance proceeded to collide with Mr. Kairu`s car, killing him instantly. When sued, the hospital pleaded they were not in breach of duty of care since they were saving a life. Discuss the legal position. (30marks)
