Prepare a paper to be presented to parents of learners with congenital hearing loss, explaining to then why children with severe congenital hearing loss have difficulties in acquiring speech and how best they can be assisted. (20 marks)

Describe techniques you would use to develop speech in children with hearing impairment when using tactile, visual and kinesthetic cues. (20 marks)

With the aid of a diagram explain the functions of the major speech organs. (20 marks)

Explain the relation of the central nervous system in relation to the neurophysiological functions of the ear. (20 marks)
