INSTRUCTIONS: Answer THREE questions, at least one from each section.

SECTION 1
1.
Discuss marriage as a vocation and as a covenant of love and show why some scholars have speculated that marriage and family is near the point of extinction.
2.
Deviant sexuality is grave pathology which deviates from the healthy normal conditions of sexual relationship. Name forms of deviant sexuality and discuss them in detail giving the Christian response to them.
3.
God created human beings as sexual beings. Name the four ways in which human being can misuse sex. Give the social, economic and psychological effects of pre-marital sex to the individual, community and society as a whole.

SECTION 2

Judeo-Christian tradition believes that the concept of human dignity belongs to the understanding that human beings are made in the image and likeness of God. What are the contemporary challenges to this belief?
5.
Name the four possible attitudes which the Christian churches have historically adapted to the political power and state with which they exist. Briefly show how each attitude is expressed.
6.
What are the hazards of overpopulation? Discuss these hazards giving the Christian response of how some of them could be avoided especially given the situation in Africa.
