Question ONE is compulsory

1. Suppose you have an exceptionally gifted and a mentally retarded student in your class. Explain how you would set up a program that takes care of their different individual needs. (24 marks)

2.a) Explain at least three different ways in which such small groups when teaching one of your subjects.

b) Discuss at least three different ways in which such small groups can be effectively employed (22 marks)

3.a) Distinguish between evaluation and measurement .
b) Describe in brief the purposes of evaluation for:
i) the teacher
ii) the student (22 marks)

4.Comprehensively discuss current and emerging teacher issues in Kenya. Give relevant examples. (22 marks)

5. Explain, with appropriate examples, how national goals of education have been catered for in the 8-4-4 educational system in Kenya.(22 marks)

6. Discuss the major issues related to the cheating in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education(KCSE).(22 marks)
