* it comprises of eight years of primary schooling which leads to the kenya certificate of primary education (KCPE). *after completion of primary you proceed to secondary. You then complete four years of secondary schooling which leads to kenya certificate of secondary education(KCSE) *After qualifying from secondary you join university. It is always a must that you join a university to finish your 8-4-4 system of education but you can join a college for two years and another two years in university hence finishing your 8-4-4 system of education.

On my view this system is pasted by time meaning that if your not a cleaver child your system may 8 or 8-4 system. My hope is that the government may change the system and come up with a system which is friendly to all student.
