Kenyatta University is an institution of higher learning in Kenya. It is a fully-fledged university established after the assent of the Kenyatta University Act by the president in 1985. Over the years, KU has grown to be an internationally recognized institution with students from all parts of the world studying in the institution. The university continues to grow and will strive to be a globally recognized institution of higher learning offering quality training academically, professionally, socially and in co curricular activities.On Friday 9th December, 2011, the university will be holding its 31st graduation ceremony whereby all the candidates who qualified in the academic year 2010/2011 will be conferred with various degrees and awarded diplomas and certificates in various disciplines.The ceremony is scheduled to start promptly at 8.45 a.m.
