Bachelor of Pharmacy at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT)

Course Entry Requirements

KCSE mean grade C+ or equivalent. In addition a candidate must have scored the indicated grades in any of the two categories

Category A

English/Kiswahili - Grade B(Plain)
Mathematics/Physics - Grade C+ (Plus)
Biology - Grade B (Plain)
Chemistry - Grade B (Plain)

Category B

English/Kiswahili - Grade B (Plain)
Mathematics - Grade C+ (Plus)
Biological Science - Grade B+ (Plus)
Physical Sciences - Grade B+ (Plus)


KACE 2 Principal passes in Biology and Chemistry and a subsidiary pass in Physics or Mathematics.


KCSE mean grade C+ with a diploma in pharmaceutical technology, clinical medicine or nursing and recognized by the relevant regulatory bodies.

Any other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above may be considered.

Course Duration: 5 years
