Kenyatta University 33rd Graduation Ceremony

Kenyatta University will be celebrating its 33rd graduation ceremony for all candidates who qualified during the 2011/2012 academic year for conferment of various degrees and the award of diplomas and certificates on Friday, 14th December 2012 at the graduation square.

Graduation Fees

The graduation fees are payable for the various awards as follows:
Certificate and Diploma - 3,000/=
Bachelors Degree - 3,500/=
Postgraduate Diploma - 5,000/=
Masters Degree - 5,000/=
Doctorate Degree - 6,000/=

All payments should be made by 30th November 2012, at any of the following Kenyatta University Accounts:
1. Cooperative Bank of Kenya - A/C No. 011-296-246-1400
2. Standard Chartered Bank - A/C No. 010-201-881-4400
3. National Bank of Kenya - A/C No. 010-035-915-0801
4. Equity Bank - A/C No. 018-029-051-8859

Academic Attire

All graduands will be required to be in full academic attire during the ceremony. The attire will be issued at respective Schools from 30th November - 11th December 2012 during working days.

Return of Gowns

All graduands are expected to return the academic attire by latest 21st December 2012, after which a fine of Ksh. 500 per day will be levied for any attire returned after the deadline (except weekends).

Rehearsal

It is mandatory that all graduands, who wish to participate in the ceremony, attend a rehearsal at the Graduation Square on Thursay, 13th December 2012 at 9.30 a.m.

Graduands Procession

All graduands will enter the the Graduation Square in a procession. The procession will form at 7.30 a.m. with all the graduands lined according to their respective schools. The procession will enter the Graduation square at 8.00 a.m. Only graduands who will be in the procession will be allowed into the Graduation Square for the graduation ceremony.

Time

The graduation ceremony will start promptly at 8.45 a.m. Late comers will not be allowed into the Graduation Square once the ceremony has started.
