Computer being a modern tool for our daily life is a gadget when properly used or learned at an early age can make someone out of the poverty line. It helps the open minded child to be innovative and creative in his/her skills. Take for instant the top most billionaires in the world, most of them earned through discovering of some very important software. This I am sure can only be achieved by being equipped by computer knowledge at an early age.

Billgates the founder of Microsoft was equipped with the computer knowledge at an age less than 12, Mark the founder of Facebook which is now common in every page of every website, started using computers at an early age and just when he was in the university still a student managed with his few friends to discover Facebook. Leave alone the west, in JKUAT a student was awarded full scholarship with permanent employment as a software engineer in twitter just after he was about to complete his 3rd year studying a degree in information technology (IT). The student clearly stated in the university website that he started using computers as early as in class four and at the age of 12 he was already familiar with certain software.

The South African boy, the founder of the Ubuntu operating system, who later sold it to a certain company in the US worth millions of dollars also was advanced with the knowledge of computer at an early age. The good thing with studying computer at an early age is that most of the kids are open minded and ready to learn as their minds are still not

preoccupied with most stuff. They also view computer as something pretty good to have fun with. Believe me kids are also sharper when it comes to technology compared to adults. Take for instance who normally takes a shorter time changing the TV channels at home with ease.

Trust me learning will be enjoyable through use of the modern technology like computers and projectors compared to using black boards and chalks. I therefore strongly recommend the government through the support of anyone reading this article to introduce computer learning, like computer packages as early as in primary school syllabus to enhance the coming generation with an intellectual innovative mind for better life in future to achieve the so called vision 2030.
