Distinguish between the terms as used in financial markets.
(i) Quoted and unquoted companies: quoted companies are the companies who shares are traded in a stock exchange market. Unquoted companies are companies whose shares are not traded in a stock exchange market.
(ii) Bonus issue and rights issue: Bonus shares are additional shares issued free of cost. A rights issue is an offer given to the existing shareholders to purchase additional shares at a discounted price within a specified period of time.
