Modes of study, academic calendar and intakes
Gretsa University offers its academic programmes through full-time, school/holiday based, evenings/weekends, modular/short-term and open and distance learning.
The open learning is suitable for those who cannot attend regular classes due to work or personal commitments and students are able to study from the comfort of their homes or offices.
The university undertakes three intakes in a year in the months of January, May and September.
Students are allowed to transfer credit for diploma and certificate courses from other recognized, accredited and reputable institutions.
Students joining the university can apply for education loans from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Each academic year in the university consists of two semesters and each semester is 15 weeks long.
A third 10 week intensive semester offers students the opportunity to accelerate their programmes by attending three semesters a year.
Gretsa University undertakes intakes in the months of September, January and May each year.
