About Kenya Medical Training College KMTC Karen Campus

Karen MTC started its operations in the year 1966 as a training center for in-service enrolled nurses in Nutrition. It has since grown gradually and currently offers certificate and diploma course in Nutrition. It is located in Karen about 23 km from Nairobi CBD.
Those aspiring to join the college should meet the following minimum entry requirements.

Diploma Students:
KCSE mean grade of C plain;
Mandatory subjects: ENGLISH /SWAHILI; BIOLOGY C; and
C Minus in any of the following; physics, physical science, chemistry, home science agriculture, math

Certificate Students:
KCSE mean grade of C minus with C minus in English or Kiswahili and D plus in any one of the following; physics, physical science, chemistry, home science agriculture, mathematics
