About Tenwek Chaplaincy School
This college is situated in Bomet county. The program was introduced to equip medical practitioners with gospel and other religious skills.
This was due to increased demand for emotional support to patients especially the terminally ill. The chaplains are trained to offer frequent visits to local
communities to encourage and support them.Patients discharged from the hospital are also encouraged to join small christian groups in their villages.
