(iii) Credit services – This involves advancement of loans to farmers by individuals
co-operatives and certain banks to finance farming activities.
(iv) Artificial insemination services (A.I) – Offered by private and government officers inorder
to maintain and improve meat and milk production.
(v) Marketing services. – Provided by co-operatives and statutory bodies like KTDA, KCC,
KPCU hence assist farmers in disposing their agricultural products.
(vi) Veterinary services – Provided by the government and private practioneers who assist in
treatment and control of parasites and diseases in the farm.
(vii) Tractor hire services – Provided by individuals government and private companies
to assist in ploughing, harvesting, weeding and any other field operation and post
