(i) The wall of Jerusalem had been rebuilt and completed in 52 days.
(ii) The Levites, priests and singers from the surrounding villages gathered in the city of Jerusalem.
(iii) The priest, the people and the walls were purified.
iv) Ezra led a grand procession that moved around Jerusalem in a counter clock- wise direction
v) Nehemiah led another group clock- wise around the city.
vi) Both groups came together in the temple square.
vii) There was singing, elaborate sacrifice, rituals entertainments.
viii) Foreigners were not allowed to participate in the ceremonies.
