i. Cover the working surface
ii. Scrape off mud from the shoes using a stick/blunt knife
iii. Dust the shoes using a dry soft cloth/duster
iv. Wipe outside and inside shoes using a soft duster/cloth wrung from warm soapy
water
v. Rinse using a cloth wrung from clean water
vi. Dry with a dry cloth
vii. Polish shoes by applying polish sparingly using circular movement with a shoe brush or
cloth
viii. Leave the shoes for a few minutes for polish to soak into leather.
ix. Shine using a dry shoe brush/cloth
x. Stuff the shoes to retain their shape
xi. Store in a dry clean airy place/shoe rack.
