Softcopy output:These are output generated in intangible output form that can be seen or heard.Examples include :output in form of sound,light or motion activity.

Softcopy is information on intangible output devices e.g. on monitors, sound light emitting diodes while hardcopy output is information on physical media e.g. on printed papers.
