-Gives women enough time to rest, gain energy from the lost blood before the next pregnancy.
-Enables the baby to breastfeed long enough thus having adequate protection from infection.
-It provides equal love and attention from parents towards every child.
-Parents are able to plan and distribute their resources appropriately.
