Cache memory is a small high speed memory used to compensate for the difference in speed between the faster CPU and slower main memory.It stores copies of the data from the most frequently used main memory locations.
Virtual memory is a memory set apart from the hard disk to temporarily acts as an extended RAM.Program swap between the RAM and virtual memory depending on which ones are currently needed by the processor.
