Flash disks have large storage capacity than CDs.
Flash disks allows easier and direct writing and erasing of its contents at any time during processing while this is difficult in CDs you must have a burning software to write contents onto the CD-Rs and CD-ROMs.
Flash disks can easily be attacked and infected by computer viruses during read/write operation while for CDs, this is difficult.
Flash disks are conveniently portable than CDs.
Flash disks are durable compared to CDs.
