There are two types of atomizers which are:
1.flame atomizer which consists of an oxidant gas and a fuel which are mixed and ignited in premix chamber.examples are:air acetylene flame and nitrous oxide acetylene flame.
2. Electrothermal atomizer which involves electricity in analysis.examples include:graphite furnace atomizer and cold vapour atomizer.
