(i) Select or click the column to adjust.

(ii) Click on format menu.

(iii) Point at column the click on width.

(iv) Type the new width then click OK. OR

(v) Point at the column border.
The mouse pointer changes to cross.

(vi) Hold down the left mouse button and drag to right to increase the width or left to decrease the width. OR

(vii) Double click the column border to outfit the longest data in the width.
