wow, in the school, we assume not all time everybody is in class, and that everybody will just need to use the network wherever he might be during his free time, either under the shade or in the sun, in the field or in an enclosure, but will all require to use the network.
My advice between wired and wireless network would be to use the wireless network.
My reasons are that;
i. Wireless network is less costly considering the resources to be installed.
- We do not need cables to transfer the network all round the place, we just need a correctly installed
router and the deal is sealed.
ii. Wireless network is acessible anywhere at any given time provided it is switched on.
- Though it is limited by a certain radious, it still counts to cover a large ground area compared to to
wired connection which will only be accessible at the stations. Wired connection is advantageous in
matters of space covered by one single connection.
iii. Wired connection can either limit or give an unlimited number of users at a given time.
- If unlimited, all students and staffs can use the same network at the same given time without any
interference or time wastage in queues waiting for turns of using the network in stations connected by
wired network.
iv. Also, there is confidence in access of network for any network user
- Rather than in wired network where the person next in the queue will here or know what transactions you
do as he/she waits for you to finish so as to also use, in wireless network, you can take position in
an enclosure and do your transactions using the network without anybody interfering with the privacy of
the message.
