Solve for x in 49^x+1 + 7^2x = 350

Answers

$7^{2(x+1)}$ + 7^2x = 350

$7^{2x} + 7^2 + 7^{2x}$ = 350

$7^{2x} \times 7^2 + 7^{2x}$ = 35

Let $7^{2x}$ = y

49y + y = 350

50y = 350

y = 7

$7^{2x}$ = $7^1$

2x = 1

x = $\frac{1}{2}$
