(ii) They might face cultural barriers if they are not working among their own community.

(iii) Lack of money and resources to meet their needs.

(iv) Lack of acceptance by some christian on grounds such as tribe, gender, education and age.

(v) What they teach or preach might make them unpopular with some members of the congregation or with the political leaders.

(vi) They might be working in hostile geographical environments where they may suffer from diseases and harsh weather.

(vii) Poor infrastructure and inaccessibility.

(viii) Some people might not be ready to forgive church leaders when they make mistakes.

(ix) Lack of co-operation from members and other church leaders.

(x) They might disagree with some rules and regulations or standing orders of the church.

(xi) When settling quarrels they might be accused of being partisan.

(xii) They may suffer stress and depression from personal problems.

(xiii)They may face temptations from worldly pleasures or material possessions.

(xiv) Competition from other Christian denominations or religions such as Islam.

(xv) They might face harassment from the civil authorities who might want to use the church for their own benefit.
