b) Some people become atheists because of the scientist’s ideas.
c) Some people started criticism openly about the Bible and the church.
d) People started doubting the authority of the bible and some acts couldn’t be proved Biblically e.g. the idea of Joshua stopping the sun.
e) People started reading the bible critically. They did not take literal interpretations. Latter on, many debates between theologians and scientists came in.
f) Some thinkers used the ideas of Darwin to promote about racism.
g) They argued that the idea of natural section could be used wipe out weak nations. This made the western world feel superior to the Africans.
h) Some people were excommunicated from the church because of believing in the ideas of Copernicus.
i) A big controversy between scientists and the church cropped up.
