1.Petroleum levy/fuel levy/road maintenance levy. It is included in the price of fuel and the levy is used to improve on the road infrastructure in the country. Fuel levy replaced the road licences and it is charged at the rate of sh. 3.20 per litre
2.Stamp duty: this is the levy imposed by the government on certain transactions and documents for example transfer of land and buildings
3.Airport tax: it is a levy imposed by the government and it is included in the air ticket prices. The purpose is to improve the airport facilities
4.Catering levy: it is levy included on the price of food and drinks in some hotels and restaurants. They are used to improve to tourism industry in the country.
