(ii) Referrals.
There are problems that a counselor can identify but cannot deal with them alone. There are problems that need attention from other specialists. For example drug addiction, criminal behaviors mental instability and delinquency.
(iii) Service.
Guidance and counseling help the individual to develop in the right direction.
(iv) Preventive:
Helps prevent self-damaging lifestyles. For example, drug taking, sexual risk taking.
(v) Peer counseling.
