The multidisciplinary approach is the result of a fused curriculum design for EE.In this approach, disciplines and subjects use the environment as a resource for their teaching. All subjects are linked through EE.Each school subjects contributes in some way to the realization of the objectives of EE as shown below:

Eg. In Art as a subject, the learner can come to appreciate the environments’ aesthetic value and express this through songs, paintings, poems etc. The artists’ product may helpin persuading people to admire, cherish and conserve the environment.
