(a) Long term scheduler;Runs less frequently,it decides which programs must get into job queue,from the job queue,the job processor,selects processes and loads them into the memory for execution.

(b) Short term scheduler;runs very frequently,it enhances cpu performance and increases process execution rate.

(c) Medium term scheduler;removes the process from memory after execution thus reduces the degree of multiprogramming
