The four main language skills include:
Listening skills
Reading skills
Writing skills
Speaking skills

To master Listening skills one requires to be attentive and relaxed,maintain eye contact with the speaker,avoid side interruptions and give regular feedbacks to the speaker.

Reading skills are mustered by fluency of the speaker which helps to put words together to get meaning of words quickly.
Vocabulary - Mastery of vocabulary while reading makes it easy to understand the comprehension.
Attention - Paying attention while reading helps the reader to be consistent and understand meaning of every word and statement in a comprehension.
Decoding which is the ability to bring out the meaning of a word or statement as used in a comprehension.

Writing skills can be used effectively through regular practise,reading more and a lot of books and novels and proper mastery of grammar and spellings.

Speaking skills gives speaker the ability to convey message clearly and effectively. This can be achieved by being confident, enthusiastic and friendly.
