-The work being observed may not involve the level of difficulty or volume
normally experience during that period of time.
-The need to be on the site where the activities are taking place consumes a lot of time.
-Some activities may take place at odd times causing a scheduling inconvenience for the analyst.

iii)This method is ineffective for people with visual disability.
iv)It is tiresome and expensive method as it involves a lot of travelling because physical presence is required.
