Two buses X and Y leave town A and B which are 60 km apart at an average speed of 70 km/hr and 30 km/hr respectively. Find how far from town A do the buses meet.

Time = $\frac {60}{100}$=0.6 hours
Distance = 70 km/hr x 0.6 h
= 42 km.
