(i) Abubakar Mushaf was compiled from the materials that were used in recording of Quran e.f Animal skin, bark of trees while that of today is compiled from the original manuscript.
(ii) Mushaf Abubakar did not have the Tashkil while that of todays has the tAski (vowels) ie. Kasra, Fatha, Dhamma and Kukun.
(iii) Abubakar did not have Ijam – Diacritical marks e.g dots, Madda, Shadda, Signs of hizb, Juzu, Sijdah, while that of present day Mushaf have the dots to differentiate the letters.
(iv) There is no separation of Surah’s from one to the other while today Mushaf has clear distinction of Surahs.
(v) Abubakar Mushaf was compiled using the 7 dialects that was used in revelation of Quran while today’s Mushaf used one dialect that is Quraishy dialect.
(vi) Mushaf Abubakar was hard handwritten while today’s Mushaf are printed in different electronic Media devices.
