-Mark the position of the pocket on the garment.
-With the right sides facing each other, pin and tack the upper pocket section of the garment from section and the lower pocket section to the garment back section.
-Remove pins and machine the pocket section to the garment section, leaving 6mm at both ends of the work.
-Under stitch the edge of the opening for a smooth finish
-Complete the seam of the garment above and below section, ensuring that the notches and pocket piece are matched.
-Join the pocket bag with appropriate stitches.
-Press the pocket carefully towards the front of the garment.
-Clip the garment seam allowance above and below the pocket and press the seam open.
-Reinforce the upper and lower edges of the pocket mouth on the R.S of the garment.
-Press the complete pocket.
