CBA is a planning tool used to evaluate desirability of given intervention. It is used to analyze the cost effectiveness of different alternatives in order to establish whether the benefit out-weight the cost.
With respect to education, CBA deals with a systematic comparison of the magnitude of the cost and benefit of investment in a given level of education in order to asses’ economic profitability.
