-This model was proposed by Charles Lindblom.
-According to this model, decisions are made in incremental basis i.e. whenever there is a problem the decision makers uses the present situation and improves on it systematically to reach a suitable solution.
-This model of decision making has an obvious advantage in the sense that administrators’ posses increased sense of security for themselves and their organizations because they build on an established tradition.
-If a mistake is make, an incremental step backward returns the situation to its previous position.
