(i) They should be ready to accept God's call as Abraham did.
(ii) They should be prepared to inherit.
(iii) They should be ready to accept they will always have God’s protection as Abraham believed.
(iv) They should accept to be sent anywhere as Abraham did when he was to move from the
known land to unknown land.
(v) They should be confident/trust in all God's promises.
(vi) As Abraham was essentially chosen by God because of his faith, so also are Christians chosen.
(vii) They should have trust that God will always answer their prayers/their requests.
(viii) They should have faith that God is not ready to destroy life but rather save it as he did to Isaac.
(ix) They should be ready to sacrifice anything that God requires from them as Abraham was ready
even to offer his son as a sacrifice.
(x) They accept that they will be great in serving God just as Abraham accepted to become great
