Artisan Courses

• Completion of primary education, or
• Any other acceptableequivalent qualification
• Course attendance of at least 75% of the 990 contact hours of training

Craft Courses

• Completion and pass in a relevant artisan course, or
• KCSE with a mean grade D+ (plus), or
• Any other acceptable equivalent qualification
• Course attendance of at least 75% of the 1980 contact hours of training, where 330 hours is time allocated for industrial attachment

Diploma Courses

• Completion and pass in a relevant craft course, or
• KCSE with a mean grade C-(minus), or
• KCE division II
• Any other approved equivalent qualification
• Course attendance of at least 75% of the 2970 contact hours out of which 660 hours is for industrial attachment.

Higher Diploma

• Completion and pass in a relevant diploma course, or
• Any other approved equivalent qualification
• Course attendance of at least 75% of 1980 contact hours of training, where 330 hours is time allocated for industrial attachment
