Total number of people =12𝑥+𝑥+13𝑥=3𝑥+6𝑥+2𝑥6
11x6

11x6=52,800
x = 52 800×116=28,800

Number of women = 28 800
Number of men =12×28,800=14,400

Number of children =13×28,800=9600

Number of men and children = 14,400 + 9,600 = 24,000

Required difference = 28,800 – 24,000= 4 800

The correct answer is C (4,800).
