The mean sales per day for that week was 25 bags and each bag was sold at sh 800. How much money did Ogolla receive on Saturday than on Thursday?

A.sh 35,200
B.sh 22,400
C.sh 12,800
D.sh 20,000

Text Answer

Mean number of bags sold per day = 25

Total number of bags sold that week =25 x 7 =175

Number of bags sold in six days excluding Thursday = 20+24+18+30+44+11=147

Number of bags sold on Thursday= 175 – 147=28

Amount received on Saturday = 44 x 800 = sh 35,200

Amount received on Thursday = 28 x 800 = sh 22,400

Required difference = 35 200 – 22 400 = sh 12,800
