ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:-

-The entry requirements set out below must be regarded as minimum requirements which in no way directly entitles an applicant to a place in the university. The following requirements must be fulfilled: -

-A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with an average grade C+ (C Plus) or its equivalent passed from at least eight subjects as one sitting drawn from subject clusters as stipulated by the Kenya National Examinations Council.

-One of the following combinations of passes in the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education or Advanced Certificate Level of the General Certificate of Education.

-Two Principals or Advanced Level passes of at least Grade C obtained at the same sitting.

-Two principals or Advanced Level passes obtained at different sittings provided that both passes are of Grade C or higher. OR
Applicants who have not taken any of the above examinations must produce acceptable documentary evidence of having passed an examination of equivalent standards by a signed statement of attainment from the Head of the last school or College attended or from the respective education authority.

Exemptions and credit transfers
Credit Transfer

A maximum of 15 units can be transferred for relevant units covered at degree or diploma level whose attainment is grade B and above.
Evidence supporting the application should include certified academic transcripts, certificates and a letter from the relevant registrar or authority

Entry requirements
- To qualify for this program,
one is required to hold either
of the qualifications below:
(i)A minimum of C+ in KCSE with
C in maths and English
(ii)A KACE certificate with
two principal passes and one subsidiary
pass.
(iii)A minimum of credit pass in English
and maths in KCE
(iv)A diploma in travel and tourism
or its equivalent from a reputable
institution.

Program duration
- The program takes three years(eight trimesters)

Tuition fees
- Sh.55,000 per trimester.
Minimum entry requirements: At least KCSE mean grade of C+ and a minimum of C in Mathematics and English or
KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass, and a minimum of a credit pass in mathematics and English in KCE or
A diploma in hospitality or relevant field from a recognized institution of Hospitality training.
Fees payable per trimester: Ksh. 55,000.
Course study duration: 8 trimesters or 3 academic years.

-Be a holder of a KCSE certificate or slip with a C+ with at least a C in English and maths or commerce or business studies or Two principals and a subsidiary pass at A level plus at least a pass in Mathematics and English at O level or
-Be a holder of a tourism diploma from a reputable institution
