HIV is the virus that attacks and destroys the white blood cells causing a defect in the body's immune system while AIDS is the name given to a group of illness in HIV positive people


ii) Modes and Myths
Modes are the actual ways that the HIV virus is transmitted while myths are the untrue beliefs that people have on HIV/ AIDS

iii) Transmission and infection
Transmission is the process of spreading or contracting HIV while infection is the result of HIV transmission where HIV is introduced into the body and starts to multiply and spread.
