gas is made up of particles which are in constant random motion since it is matter. increase in temperature of the gas results in the increase in the motion of the particles since they gain energy which increases their mobility, this in turn increases its pressure. thus, increase in temperature of a gas, at a constant volume results in an increase in pressure of the gas. this is the kinetic theory
