Through punishment- for punishment to be effective certain conditions must be fulfilled:
- it should be predictable
- it must follow aggression closely
- it must be legitimized by existing social norms
- those who administer punishment must be seen as non aggressive
- Through discouragement of aggression
- By reducing aversive stimuli in the environment
- Strengthening social norms against aggression
- Reduce overall exposure to aggressive models
- Minimize competition to enhance cooperation in the classroom
- Provide constant supervision to aggressive students
- Limit access to aggressive choices
- Seek professional help
- Give aggressive students responsibility
- Give the students the marks they deserve
