encourages them to offer hospitality to others.

conversation or telephone.

POINTS TO CONSIDER WHEN WRITING A THANK YOU NOTE

- It should be brief.

- It should be confined to the purpose of which it was written (conveying gratitude)

- It should not be use as an opportunity to remind the recipient of unfulfilled obligation.

- The note between the writer and the recipient would influence the choice of words or
register.

If the note is written on behalf of a group of people, your position in the group should be
specified.
